September’s palette
green purple yellow and tan
soft shoes, still sunny
she tries to hide, but
she’s too pretty in bed of
soft hydrangeas
my hair afrizz, I’m
having a purple moment
in now’s perfection
green fern dresses
with wide open smiles, our
faces to the sun
a bee festival
every day on our stage
drunk on pollen vibe
metal light magic
tree shadows on the wall
in fluorescent sun
it’s a party where
all have been invited, but
no rsvp
Notes:
♦1st 2 images were taken at a pocket park on the bike ride last Sunday.
♣images 3, 4, 5 were taken outside of the library, which always has loveliness in bloom. The bees are ga-ga over everything right now.
♥image 6 taken at my hair salon. I was the only person in the place wearing a mask.
♠image 7 taken during lunch with a friend. We wore our masks when we weren’t eating and maintained 6 feet distance. It’s a new place and not sure they can stay in business for long with lack of customers.

I love that giant stained-glass butterfly and the metal tree. The flowers are gorgeous, too.
I routinely have “hair afrizz” and “purple moments.” LOL!
