More pics from this week. The rain has brought out the fungi. The bike trails are lovely at this time of year. The pear tree is both a tease and a traitor.
moon falls from the sky,
lands in the tall grass, and cracks —
patient, she rises, healed
Ms. Pac Man’s hunting
easier to spot than snakes
hungry at sunset
Summer’s leaf traitors
dance September’s bitter wind
pears growing sweeter
just out of reach
the perfect pear taunts
deer stretch in moonlight
after the rain
greens are greener in the sun
bike paths sizzle
Love that moon ‘shroom! And all the images and poetry. Happy Friday to you!

Sadje thank you very much. Even as the season slows down, new life springs forward.

I see mushrooms, but I also see white instead of yellow Pac-Man. 🤓

What a wonderful bike path! Our greens are like that too–luscious. (K)

Yes, good way of describing the green of this time of year. When I went on that group ride a couple of weeks ago the leader gave me a (free) annual guide to all of the trails in MI. There are 2400 miles of them in our state. Truly mind-boggling. I think I have found something to keep me entertained and healthy.
