Thursday Doors 120921

I believe this is my first time participating in Thursday Doors.  I’ve seen so many beautiful entries from Kerfe and Sheree I was inspired to take pics on my recent walk in the downtown area of a nearby West Michigan town.  It was the annual wreath walk, but because the wreathes were inside and behind glass it was impossible to take good pictures of them.  The doors, however, were there for the capturing.  I will share just a few today and more in other weeks.

Thank you for joining us. These are wonderful doors and a wreath walk sounds like a fun activity. I love the first door, but the entrance to the Century Club is magnificent.

You are welcome. Nice to have some doors to share. Also enjoyed seeing the gingerbread village doors. So neat.

Kerfe, it’s so easy for you because you live in Door City, USA, and you walk everywhere. I live in a berg. This may actually get me out and about to find doors 🙂

Biking for doors…that seems like a good project. They show up in the unlikeliest places!

That top door is a work of art.

I think so too, Max. We used to have a door like that on the house I grew up in (in better, yet not perfect condition.) I still miss that old house. It’s a crumbling and abused dwelling now 😦

Doors are an interesting subject…never gave it much thought but they are.

They are wonderful metaphors in poetry.

          As Mike steps through
the portal, he smiles and waves,
          knowing we’ll meet again…
