Sentenced explosions, smoke, and wailing
finds my spirit drifting away
to the day we walked among
sunflowers. He, ahead,
turned and sat, smiling,
sunglowed, amidst
a world of
balanced
peace.
Today’s offering is in the nonet form.

I saw cartoon by Red & Howling saying that animals are about love, not war, and this one little dog was saying, “I just want to cuddle, feel safe, and eat cookies.” I can’t stop thinking about it. Pets ought to run the world.

Our pets really do live outside our human failings. Sometimes pure love is all we need.

Yes that is part of it. Whenever I see a dog now I do think of her.

It’s good we can turn to memories, especially when they are so beautiful.
