Velvet rosemary blooms,
Each branch tip clustered with
Silent choirs of profound.
Secrets will be revealed;
Each fragrant unfold brings
Lavender mysteries.
Opening inside, where
Fresh pollen kernels flush
Yearn to pulse forth with life.
Oh, receptive vessels
Understand their calling;
Receive their humble gift.
Will you appreciate
Impromptu miracles?
Sentient messages

The rosemary bush I watched all summer outside did not bloom. I bought her in about a month ago. In the past couple of weeks, I’ve watched buds forming on her. This morning I see some buds are blossoming. Best Thanksgiving gift ever, from our Mysterious Mother.
Spirit’s Vessel, a poetry form created by Christina R Jussaume on April 7, 2008, consists of three stanzas of six lines each of six syllables each. These stanzas must start with the letters VESSEL OF YOUR last word is 6 letters and your choice. The poem must be uplifting in content and spiritual in nature. It may be with or without rhyme. One of my favourite herbs, Lisa; I have a pot of rosemary on the kitchen windowsill. We used to have a huge bush of it in the garden of a house we once lived in, and it bloomed. I love the way you describe ‘Each branch tip clustered with / Silent choirs of profound’ and the ‘Fresh pollen kernels … Yearn to pulse forth with life’ – I can almost smell it!
