I’m in the library right now trying to “write.” (notice the air quotes? lol) Also, searching for publishers has been mildly depressing. It’s almost like the scammers and rip-off artists have quadrupled in the short time since I found my first publisher in 2016. Now I’m FORCED to get the Writer’s Market and make up an actual list, lol !!

I knew U2, Run/DMC, Kinks, and Carey songs but The Killers ones were brand new to me. The videos for those are interesting to say the least. Looks like they put out a new holiday tune every year?

YAY!!!! on writing. Does this mean what I think it means!? I do not know what Writer’s Market and the list are that you mention. I know a couple of people who publish books here in WordPressLand but have no specifics about them beyond that. I can email you names if you want me to.

Yeah, started to remember Run/DMC. It was cute! Christmas in Hollis is so folksy; never heard it before! Where have I been? Hoo boy, a new holiday tune EVERY year? That’s amazing.
And hey, thanks for the suggestion. Do you mean they publish books as in they have a publishing company, or they self-publish? Writer’s Market is just a resource with all the agents/publishers, etc. I hate making lists, haha

About The Killers, I didn’t look too closely, but there was a whole playlist of their Christmas songs on YouTube so I jumped to that conclusion (which very well may not be correct.) Yes, three that I know of have started publishing companies. One only publishes his own work but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be open to publishing others’. The other two have published their own and others’ work. OK thanks on info on Writer’s Market. Speaking of published books, my DIL had a book published through google of pictures of my grandbaby that she gave me yesterday. Wonders never cease.

Ooooh, nice! Hopefully wonders WILL never cease! That’s part of my “problem,” though, you see: I’m too lazy, but mostly too broke and more so too technically incompetent to publish on my own. Just don’t wanna deal with it, you know?! But enjoy the photos, Li! What a nice surprise. 🙂
