Interview with Olivia Chaney (instead of a quote) here.
I wrote about Olivia back in 2019, which you can read (and hear one of my favorite songs by her) here
I’ve got, “Offa Rex” (her collaboration with The Decemberists) and her solo album, “Shelter.”
Discography:
EP: 1
Collaborations: 10
Studio: 2
One thing to share: she plays several instruments, including an electric dobro

She has a beautiful voice. Thank you for sharing.

I didn’t know her… then I heard her voice thought she sounded familiar… I do know and like the Decemberists. (I’m bad, I hardly know members of most bands, unlike back in the day when we read the album covers and inserts until we knew it all off by heart.)
I like her voice.

I’m completely new to Olivia Chaney. Based on my first impression, she looks like a traditional singer-songwriter, and I mean that as a compliment – an artist and musician who writes and performs her own music. She also has a pretty voice!

I love “Shelter”. I had it out from the library awhile ago. Thanks for reminding me–I think I’ll reserve it again. (K)

Her voice reminds me of Sarah McLachlan a little bit…great sounding voice.

The voice of an angel. Sadly it looks like her career has fizzled somewhat lately. Hope it gets resparked.
