honey moon is full of fervent
longing for her glowing purpose;
in her aural sky she pulses,
hopes to melt from ice to sherbet.
earthly twin, she too craves touches,
tingled skin with tensing muscles,
rosined bow ‘gainst Nero’s fiddle
searing steamed desire’s fluxes.
fills the sky with cratered nipples,
mist arise with moist hot nibbles,
then she swirls from gold to blushing
as she feels her season sizzle.
gravity of ocean tugging,
Titan wins again with cunning,
surf against the shore is shoving,
noisy now with rhythmic pulsing
Quatrain form
Colleen, it is entirely your fault how this poem turned out!

Woah! The ‘honey moon’ was on a honeymoon filled with passion. It was only at the end that I realized this was for Colleen’s prompt🙂. Had to read it again to find the synonyms. Beautifully done.

Outstanding work Lisa! Wow! I love your images.
Since my childhood, we’ve always been told through stories and songs that moon is a “he”… this is a new interpretation of moon for me and so hot! Your poem will stay with me and resurface each time I look at full moon.

Good to know that the moon has more than one gender, and happy the poem will stay with you <3

That was awesome, Lisa! I’m quite happy Colleen’s choice of words brought that out of you. ;-) Full moons have always affected me, though I can say it’s never been in this way. Lol! Great poem!
