Wind is sparkling cottonwood leaves
this morning.
It’s cooler outside than in
Safe to open windows in daylight
for the first time in weeks.

      Works perfectly for yard work. I need to get those logs moved before the snow flies. Every day a couple less to worry about.

      It been nice to get reacquainted with familiar pieces and introduced to new ones of Matisse and Seurat. I had many of the poems written before getting the postcards, so I was shuffling through them to try to find one that “matched” as closely as possible. I’m glad this one worked.
