To Alexandra
Artiste! in thought, word, and deed
Loves to stroll among the flowers
Examines life through a fine-cut lens
X–\
A nickname from long ago that lingers
N–/
Danced on skates and now through streets
Recollections spin gems between lines
A person whose heart is in her home.

Beautiful post 🌹

Another amazing postcard–personal, yet universal. Using the map is genius. (K)

Kerfe, thank you very much. I need to refine the technique, probably get an exacto knife to cut them right?

I actually like the unevenness of scissors for my grids, unless I’m cutting up old artwork. Then I use my paper cutter because it’s just easier. Even with that, I still manage to get squares that are a bit off.

Good to know how you do it. Keeps the human part of the work intact.
