Last week I showed you a video from the day before the big Halloween snowstorm when I first asked the question did the turkeys cross the road. This is a play off of “Why did the chicken cross the road?” which is one of the most answered poultry questions of all time. Here are two more videos I took earlier this week. I urge you to make guess on each one and see if you guess correctly.

Yes, they did :) I wondered if they ever would. A couple of days ago they wandered, one by one, past my slider. They meander all over the place and are so easy-going.

Sadje, think there is a turkey hunting season that you buy a license in order to hunt turkeys, but I don’t know if anybody tries to catch them beyond that.

In the first one they start following the road, the second the cross in two groups, in the third and attempt is made but scuttled.

I should put these in chrono order as the last one is really the first, and parts 2 & 3 are one day. You’ll see at the end of part 2 that the camera jiggles. I almost dropped the phone, then started recording again, which became part 3. It’s fun watching them.

haha they finally made it! I was scared they would get squished by a car, so I’m glad they made it. I like the faster music on the first video best, then the 3rd one . :)

Yes, they always seem to make it, sooner or later. Rarely (if ever!) do I see any turkey carcass along the road (this road, at least.) It is a miracle too, as sometimes they race down this road. I think the country music works well also :)
