Yesterday, Mlady and Dotty were sleeping peacefully on the couch (the mini-split blows directly on it) and they looked so cute I decided to snap a pic. Of course, Dotty woke up and said what’s the haps, my peep?
Here’s an especially cute one of Mlady trying to charm me so I pet her. Could you resist?
A couple of days ago one of the apple trees was full of cardinals. They came and went and this is just a few of them.
After seeing the incense pic, I tried to take one of my own. You can see the burning tip but not the smoke. The purple comes from a diffuser that also has multiple light settings on it.

Aw, your furry babies are cute. And, yes, cats do know how to charm. Our cat ladies are very close – literally. They often sleep right next to each other like they’re snuggling. :-)

So good to know they are buddies, Christian. I see a lot of cats do chum up with each other. Both of my cats came from the shelter and they recommended each be one cat homes. When I saw Dotty curled up for a year and not getting adopted I decided to take a chance.

I can see the smoke, barely but I see it. At first glance I thought the incense stick looked like a light pole.🤭 Ever heard the saying “cardinals appear when angels are near”? I always loved that. Mlady and Dotty are adorable.

I’m not giving up on a good shot of the incense. I should edit the photo and draw a tiny Gene Kelly in there ;) Yes, I have heard that saying. It’s one my mom loved and believed it. Believe it or not I thought, my mom has come to visit and brought some of our relatives with her <3 Thanks on Mlady and Dotty. They are pleasant company.

Mlady and Dotty look so content and cozy. I love seeing cardinals at any time, but especially in winter.

Yes, they spend most of their day sleeping and mob me when I sit down on the couch for first cuppajoe and later when I watch movies. The cardinals love it here, with so many other birds. Easy pickins at the bird feeders :)

Thanks, Max. Yes, she is! Thanks for asking. I think it was the new footstool and the bladder issue. Since she got the shot, I moved the footstool out of the room, and she has started running on her wheel regularly, it has been great.

On a side note…we have a virtual VM die today and I probably won’t comment until this afternoon or tonight at the earliest. I’m also picking Bailey up…so it is a busy day

Well that was redundant! It’s a server in the cloud…”Virtual Machine” so I told you basically…Virtual Virtual Machine lol.
I just picked up Bailey and we did drive through a little sleet….nothing was sticking though.

Aha, get the VM back in operation? Glad Bailey made it back from across the ocean. We got hit with a pretty big snowstorm yesterday. Today the heavy snow is weighing the trees down again. Had to get out there with the rake and rake off what I could reach on the pine boughs over the driveway. We had a power outage this morning but thankfully only for a couple of hours.
