On Tuesday it was another drive to Grand Rapids to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park (FMG) to spend time with family. Since the temps got warmer, mixed with the snow, the drive over was very foggy. It looks like they are having musical event in what we call “the big face room” on Tuesday evenings. This week it was bluegrass, and they were just getting going as we left. From what I heard the acoustics are excellent.
I’ve been wanting to show these plants off in the first entryway to the place for awhile. What a beautiful way to set the tone.
They spruce the place up with greenery for events. Look at this orchid arrangement!

Colleen I think they’ve got an orchid show either going on or coming up so they probably have a few spares lying around ;) It’s always spring in the gardens…

That fog is something. Not fun to drive it, but fun to photograph.

They had live music set up in stations around Christmas time. They also have an outdoor amphitheater where all size concerts are held in the nice weather.
