POPO2024 Day 25

25

Terry Pratchett, my champion
for ↑ annual goodreads #s.
Humor, adventure, and magic
jostle each other to
tennis match my eyes.

Each of the 40-some books
stand alone, yet intersect
at places, histories, characters.
All are set on a (Disc) world
that is carried on the backs
of 4 elephants
& a mighty turtle.

I have had so many people tell me I need to read his books. The only one I have is Good Omens, but I read that because of Neil Gaiman… Maybe some day soon.

I love his adventures, his characters, and his dry humor. Very easy reading but you have to pay attention or you’ll miss the humor.

:) Bono is one of my heroes. Poor Irish kid makes great and gives back to the world. His songs have helped me through some tough times.

I understand about not having time to read books that wait for us.

Now if we had 100 pairs of eyes and 50 brains, we’d be all set :)
