Dirty Bomb
Above the power lines it sat. Its intent was clear but its contents a mystery.
“Who will it cancel this time?”
While other scandals came and went, as the wax and wane of all things does, its way was different. Confident. Sustained.
It burst upon the world the early morning of Halloween.
A photo of an orange bully engaged in in flagrante delicto plastered across Cyberia:
standing beside a cage of bruised and bleeding nude men, women, and children, holding a cattle prod and wearing a sh*t-eating grin.
First Tuesday of November, still they cast their votes for him.

Nothing like a swipe at dirty orange bombs to make me smile. Although the truth is very serious.

I still can’t believe that this… uhm… man… still has so many followers. Who am I to talk though, in my country the insanity rages as well. Lies, hatred and insanity. When it’s entertaining, they win. The one who actually do stuff, aren’t fun. So they lose. I still have hopes for you there though…

Gabi, I appreciate your thoughts on it. Ironically, I have been watching the Netflix special on Vince McMahon, founder and recently deposed King of the WWE wrestling empire. I swear the… uhm… man studied McMahon’s playbook. I’m sorry to hear it’s happening there (saw a Frontline special on it not long ago.) I’m glad you see some hope for here and that hopefully means there is hope for you there also.

I find myself searching for words. None are coming to mind. We need to pray, indeed. Whatever the outcome, there will also be outrage.

Linda, you’re right. Sincerely asking, what do you think it would take to get humans on the same page with each other?

A sincere answer: One of the best things God gave us is the ability to think, perceive, and make decisions. Human nature is such that we WILL disagree, and the history of humanity is the story of man’s inhumanity toward man. I am a biblicist. I believe that biblical prophecy that Jesus will one day return to earth and rule from Jerusalem for 1000 years. During that time, the evil that mankind tends to commit will be dealt with quickly and completely. It will be a time of peace around the world. Only when Jesus is acknowledged as God will we see “peace on earth toward men of good will.” And that’s a very condensed summary of future events. We don’t know God’s timeline. What we do know is that before the Millenial Reign of Jesus, there will be a time of terrible trouble and evil that will eclipse all that has gone before, when Satan dominates and rules without mercy.
That’s probably a lot more than you asked for :)

It baffles me that people would still vote for someone who insults people and resorts to name calling.

He’s vile. Vile beyond vile. I’ve been watching a netflix series on Vince MacMahon and how he built the world wide wrestling empire and I feel certain the vile one took pointers from him. As long as he’s baiting people to feel, one way or another, he wins in his mind. I think he an ignored child growing up and he has a toxic need for attention and will do anything to get it, even destroy the world.
