dVerse Q214 — Buffet

Buffett

Our first date:
you, egg foo yung;
I, bang bang shrimp.
Our palates different,
yet we merried well.
We bathed in banana
splits; yet can life
be one big dessert?
We buffeted until
best used by; nothing
left but the tums
and some toothpicks.

Punam is today’s host of dVerse’ Quadrille Monday. Punam would like us to write a 44-word poem using the word, bang.

Thanks, Steve. I randomly came across the song and was pleased to see Dwight had a new album. I also did a little research on Post Malone and see he’s mostly a rapper! Good I’m glad you’re going to do a write-up on the song.

I know peppers I grew, and not sure what else. I think soy sauce. This was “watermelon tuna” recipe I tried. OK I found the recipe I used:
      • 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
      • 1 lime, juiced
      • 1 tbsp maple syrup
      • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
      • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
      • 1 fresh chili, sliced
      • A thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
      • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
      • 1 nori sheet, crumbled (optional)
      • salt, pepper
