With so many head shops sprouting up around town, it was inevitable that one of Rose’s friends would bring edibles to their Friday night group Scrabble game. The words used that week weren’t found in the regulation dictionary.
Next morning, Jill called, opening the conversation with, “The sixth, seventh, or eighth?”
“What’re you talking about?” Rose asked.
“For our day spa at Au Naturale, silly!”
Ah, yes, the nudist spa the next town over.
“Seven’s my lucky number.”
Frolicking in the hot springs with so many droopy-faced silver foxes was a rejuvenating winter experience — that they revisited until spring.

In my youth, I visited a few nude beaches in the SF Bay Area. It’s not so intimidating after you doff your clothes for the first time and no one reacts. Plus, most people there were hardly “body beautiful” types.

When I saw the picture…I couldn’t imagine the story lol… an edible would indeed put some life in the Friday night group…Scrabble or no Scrabble.
