It’s 6 degrees F out there and the F isn’t for Farenheit. Windchill of -11, which I can testify to as my lips screamed when I went out to feed the birds.
It’s 42F in the atrium, where the PC is. I’ve been out here for about an hour, but enough is enough. Going back in until around 3 and will try to get the wood burner to lift the temp a few degrees.
Here are a few memes that have been posted before but oh so appropot for today.

Alaska here, our weather’s drunk. Please send it home! It’s 21 degrees here!

Violet that has to be a reprieve for you doesn’t it? When I think Alaska I think sub-zero all winter. Stay warm, my friend.

haha These were all funny and I agree with them – die winter! It even got cold here like 11 or so. Pipes froze but finally thawed out yesterday. :)

Barbara, you got down to 11 in TX??? That is unheard of for you all isn’t it? Pipes freezing is no joke. Glad you got a thaw.

Yikes, Lisa, please be safe. In my neck of the woods of central NJ it’s currently 26,, though the forecast low for tonight is 7! For tomorrow, they predict 20 as the high and 4 as the low!

Wow, Christian, I think the whole region is getting cold crackled. Do you have to drive in it? Please keep emergency warm stuff in your car if you do. Those hand-warmer packets work so well.

Fortunately not on a frequent basis. That said, hand-warmer packets sounds like a good idea!

It might get above zero F here this afternoon. I find it reassuring that we still get winter weather now and then.

You’re in the freeze zone also. Still blustering and blowing out there. I thought we wouldn’t have winter this year, but it’s just late. Probably will still be snowing in June :(

Don’t say that! It did once snow on my grandmother’s birthday at her home in Superior, WI. Her birthday, BTW, was July 4.

Hilarious! 25º here in NY; not awful but would rather stay inside than bring our granddaughter home after our sleepover. Maybe we should just keep her another night! 😀

Heck yes, keep her there. Am hoping I’m able to drive to GR tmrw to see my granddaughter. It’s looking a little iffy at this point.

We kind of like the sub zero temps it doesn’t snow as much if it stays cold. But we’re prepared for it. Most of the lower 48 is not. Stay safe!

It’s colder today but still no snow. My daughter’s family went to the mountain for the kids to play in the snow. Snow didn’t come to us so they went to the snow.
For you and me, stay warm, Lisa! ❤️
