Yesterday, after picking up some borrows from the library, the sunny day pulled me for a scenic drive out to Lake Michigan. On the way, I happened across a large flock of turkeys crossing the road. Not much car traffic on it and so was able to stop and take this video (sorry it is sideways, I forgot phone cameras don’t adjust):
After a half hour of driving along roads like this, there she was, a gift to the world in all seasons. The wind on the recording was so loud that a soundtrack of sweet music was added.

Here are some more pics taken out at the lake yesterday.
I took a couple of the pics and turned them into black and white.

OK, something has changed with photo insertion and editing of size, whether individual/gallery/slideshow/etc.
BONUS VIDEO:
Taken a couple of weeks ago at fmg, of the Victorian Garden fountain. They had just finished a weekend orchid show and it looks like they decided to put some of them around the fountain. They are usually found in the tropical garden, or maybe these were donations from those displaying at the show?

Those black and white shots are really grabby… I stared at the top one for a couple of minutes. Great fun !!!

Thank you, Chris. I need to try to adjust their size to do them justice.

Maybe– I’m sure some details are going unnoticed.

Yes. It was also good to see how far out the water was frozen. iirc there were no icebergs last year.

It was just perfect out there. It’s funny how, in summer, the beaches are so busy, but in winter…

I think there’s a different beauty in winter, but we need the eyes attuned :)
