Summer Beach
An arm said you were beneath her
breasts as symphony
hot music in a sun dress
heaving to the lake.
I will lazy dream you
picturing peaches in pink sweat
whisper-worshiping
your lovely beat.

The first line set the dominos for the rest. She’s getting restless.

I like when you do these as I’ve said before…I love the simple but effective “whisper-worshiping”

I sure did…I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

It’s been a pretty laid back Saturday. Morning reading on Josh Brolin, my CD order got here and listened to Before the Flood, and binge-watching “Animal Kingdom.” Hope you are enjoying your weekend also.

Josh Brolin…I know some about his dad. His dad married Jan Smithers. Sounds like you are having a good time…

I remember James from Marcus Welby, MD. Now that I am looking at Jan Smithers, wasn’t she the actress you had a crush on from WKRP? James’ first wife was Jane, Josh and his brother’s mom. Jane sounds like she was hell on wheels. He probably went the opposite direction with Jan. Babs is probably a combination of both women lol.

Oh YES she was….Bailey Quarters. Everyone liked Loni Anderson…not me.
I read about Jane…from a Josh interview. I remember him from a movie called The Car I talked my poor mom into taking me.

Haha just found out that The Car isn’t even listed at imdb. It’s on wiki though.

Oh here you go! It was one of the first horror movies I showed Bailey…we still watch it.

It’s a fun movie by the way. If you ever want something scary…BUT too scary…that is the one.
