Stupendous, ama-zing
my eyeballs are gazing
at colors of braising
bright palette of praising
as white does its phasing
out.
As crystals are going,
spring groundwork is showing
above and belowing
with thawing and glowing
with mudding and growing
as water is flowing
around.
ii
zing is the thing
puts sing in song
wrong in right
puts length in long
the bat in eyelashes
morse in dot-dashes
puts the cunei in form
abnormal in norm
puts the zig in zag
puts the frog in frag
zing is the spring
De Jackson is today’s host for dVerse’ Quadrille Monday. De wants us to write a 44-word poem using the word zing. I decided to write two of them.

Is that one of your collages? I especially like the first poem, it hops like a bunny. (K)

That’s an old collage, K. My table is now covered with computer stuff. No room for art :( I need to do a major furniture, etc. reorganization.

Cmon sunshine, we need to recharge our batteries. I heard some sh*t went down in NYC? Mayor now above the law also?

Yes. I don’t know what he promised Trump but he is rotten to the core. Evidently he’s going to run as a Republican because he already knows he can’t win the Democratic primary, which Curtis Sliwa always wins, and Sliwa is beside himself. A soap opera with no good end.

I couldn’t comment at first, Li. I reloaded the page, then I clicked the + to take me to the block selections and chose paragraph.
Now I’ve forgotten what I was going to write. 😂 But I especially liked the rhythm and rhyme in the first one!

Oh, come spring! I enjoyed the rhythm and rhyme of these, Lisa, as I look out at the frigid cold landscape surrounding our warm home…

Yes! Thanks, Steve.
It’s back to that here today also, Steve. A blizzard minus wind, so a snowstorm? The birds aren’t liking it at all.
