Photo taken last night at fmg.

They have started having live music going on in multiple places inside fmg on Tuesday nights. This is part of one of the tiki bars set up in the main walkthrough. As far as alcohol at a sculpture and garden park/venue, it started when they put small bottles of wine and beer in a cafeteria case. Now on Tuesdays there are bars set up all along this walkthrough. Why must they always spoil pretty things with alcohol?
Notice anything amiss? How about this:

You know those cute little red bulbs that are everywhere these days? This one has taken surveillance bulbs to the next level. It probably is fully equipped with video, sound, and facial recognition.

That’s not good- both alcohol and surveillance 🥲

FMG got a new president a few years ago and he seems to be ramping a lot of things up, and not all of them good. We are used to going on Tuesdays because they are open until 9pm which allows both sons to be able to go after work. For a 5-6 weeks in Dec-Jan they had the outside off limits to everyone except those who bought tickets to an outside light show that costed a lot of $$ per ticket. Not cool! And now the alcohol bars lining the main hall. Then those “new and improved” bulbs :( This is supposed to be a place to have peace and quiet and enjoy nature.

I understand- this new president is much like POTUS. Bringing change where none was needed.

Sad that they think they need cameras in a garden and sculpture place.

I can see having them in the galleries and having them outside in the sculpture park for security from theft but not in the main walkways.

I don’t know but it’s new. I don’t like to be a conspiracy theorist, but do they want you looking at the parrot so they can get a good shot of your face? Probably perfectly innocent…

I think you called it — it’s smart, and basic psychology — and it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise. Good looking out !!!!!!!!
