Did you know… today is World UFO/UAP Day? And that 2025’s Roswell UFO Festival is happening right now?

Not sure how it came about, but I saved this date in my calendar.

Here is a news report from last year:

Here’s the report for this year:

I know a few of you have shared your UFO experiences on your blogs.

Have you experienced a close encounter with a UFO or ET?

  1. If I want to see a UFO (now officially known as a UAP), I’ll go to Devil’s Tower. (As a child, I had a Pluto Platter, the forerunner to the Frisbee. They were modeled after flying saucers.)

What does UAP stand for? Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon? I had a close encounter at about 20 years old. The police laughed at me and asked if I’d been watching a scary movie on TV. I know what I saw.

Pluto Platter is a pretty cool name for a toy.

We lived across the street from a Catholic Church and School out in a rural area. The buildings blocked whatever was there, but we (my mom and I) saw red and green flashing lights. It was at night. The next morning I walked over to where I imagined they were coming from and there were burn marks on the lawn. I don’t remember what shape they were in. Also in that area in the sky I saw lights in the sky while driving sometimes where they did not act like planes, going swiftly up or down and disappearing.

Oh cool! Thanks for the reminder, as I’d not even thought of it. We did go to Roswell during the 4th celebrations one year, and it was so much fun.:)

Cool! No UFOs in my life. But there’s so much in this world that is unexplained. (K)

During my school days, I used to be so fascinated by UFOs. We used to be shown movies on UFOs in the school once in a while. I never knew that there was such a day. Thanks for info. Interesting.

Pradeep, I’ve always loved UFO movies and series also. Very cool they showed them in your school as a kid. It’s a festival I’d like to travel to see one day. You are welcome.

Sounds like a hoot, doesn’t it. Maybe I can find an ET to get me the hell out of here. I’ve had enough of humans.
