You’ve heard me mention Doyle Bramhall II a time or 2. Over the break I decided to create a Spotify playlist of my favorite songs from the albums I have of his. I played this playlist MANY times since creating it and it is solid. Please give his music a listen and let me know what you think.

YES :) I think he and Tedeschis must have made an album of those covers but I haven’t gotten a chance to do research on it.

Not sure if you noticed he’s a lefty and I think I remember reading he strings/tunes his guitar differently. You would know more about it I’m sure.

Yes…like Jimi Hendrix or Paul McCartney…sometimes plays guitars upside down because most guitars are made for right handed people.

Whew…I just finished it…. Jen is not home yet but it turned out pretty good…I cooked too much and the first batch is great…the second fell apart but is still good…plus Italian meat balls…first time I ever tried. I thought I would try something different for her today…I never cook.

She liked it! I thought it was passable compared to a restaruant…yes she was very happy that I tried and she liked it. Bailey and her are picky eaters so I was happy they both liked it. The meatballs were easy…the Gnocchi turned out good but it didn’t look great but it tasted great lol… Lisa it took me 3 damn hours!

Lisa, I can’t believe I essentially know Doyle Bramhall II by name only! Based on sampling the first three tracks in your playlist, he sounds like right up my alley. I’ve added his name on my list of earmarked songs for The Sunday Six, so hopefully, he’ll make an appearance there soon! :-)

Really awesome, Christian. I started out pretty bold and in the end chose some of his softer tunes/covers (one Dylan and one Harrison.) Eric Clapton uses him as his backup.
