Knowing
Knowing such things happen
to us, are happening to others,
knowing such things are possible,
how can we, they, go on without
dismantling? Many do.
If they, we, survive, how?
These are questions screaming
in our faces right now.

I’ve got a lot of Friends in Portland. They are smart but they are too soft, too optimistic. I worry about them a lot.

It’s some kind of carnivorous plant. The insect head is an illustration I cut off of a postcard. Glad you like the artwork. There is one similar tomorrow … but different.

I love it! It reminds me of those books in childhood we read stories from…the style of the art to that.

I’m sorry to say I cut it (and today’s) images out of a library book I got at a sale. Still it makes a nice postcard and people get to see it.
