worshippers gather today

Notes:
first pic are the solar candy canes I mentioned recently. I’ve moved them to various places as the snow has melted. They get good light, short as it is, where they are now.
second pic is the beautiful display at my cousin’s church, where I went today. My little 5 year old nephew played Joseph in the Christmas play.
third pic is a decoration at the table where my friend and I had lunch this past week. Love Cafe is run totally by volunteers, has a real chef that takes on homeless and/or destitute culinary students to train. best of all you get high class cuisine and pay only what you can afford. All profits are used to operate the place and to pay stipends to the chefs-in-training

Yes it was, Dwight. My friend has been to Love Cafe multiple times as she lives downtown. The people are SO friendly there, every single one <3

What a unique concept for that Love Cafe. That is a great video. My 14 month old grandson just learned how to say “snowman” and he made one the other day, so he is currently obsessed. Thanks for sharing Lisa.

Bruce, I just wish they hadn’t sullied The Snowman with commercials :( I may need to buy a copy of the DVD, with Bowie’s intro, of course. I love it when he pulls that scarf out of the box.
