The Seeker
Geo, world traveling
searching, rising, falling,
tunneling through
entrances, exits;
a circuitous tube.
Tu be is to be
connected to
fabric of All.
Note:
I decided to use a dream I had back in 2020. The collage is the closest I could come to what I experienced in the dream. I observed George Harrison, traveling on a tube to the cosmos. I took the dream image to dream group and we worked on it together. The big thing for me was teasing apart tube. Also we talked about what George symbolized to me. He was always searching, was on a spiritual path, and always struggling between the spiritual and material. As every part of a dream reflects upon the dreamer, writing the poem today helped me put it together. Thanks, Sanaa, for the prompt.
Sanaa is today’s host at dVerse’ Poetics. Sanaa says:
I would like you to write a poem that interprets a dream.

This is incredibly potent, Lisa! I love the depth of this poem and the image of the “circuitous tube.”
I am so glad you shared this with us! Thank you for writing ❤️❤️

Tunnels, exits, entrances…It put me in mind of life in a tumble dryer.

Yep, in the end you get overheated and wrinkled and then you get tossed in the thrift store donation bin ;)

An interesting dream, Lisa. It is funny what/who triggers our dreams.
Your site did not have any comments showing when I went there.

Jay, in our dream group, we recognize that the dream world loves wordplay like this. It is a major key in dream interpretation practice.

Fun wordplay, and perhaps key to you, but I can’t help but think of Hamlet. 😊
