Tinkling Dem Bones
Bones – frames creak about
within, without house, clothed
with flesh, upholstery; bare
early Spring trees.
Rattled in closets; as unwaxed
boards that squeak beneath.
You feel it in them.
You shake them in October
and in Friday craps.
They dance us silly human cartoons.

Loving all these bone references. I DO feel it in them. ;)

All those different kinds of bones, all dancing, Lisa. I smiled at the cartoon.

Great imagery. I love the line:
“You shake them in October
and in Friday craps.”

Yeah I felt this one in my bones~perfect ending and video clip paored with it. I feel like they move me instead of the other way around as the older I get! Great poem!
