The Oracle Speaks 082226

Granddaughter, collecting from nature to build her creations

heart is a baby belly,
laugh-dazzled dance
of eternities wild air.

secrets lie broken
like decayed kisses
from young fires

we asked god for cake
& champagne, as we must;
lingering though
in cloud and concrete

universe, use green
tree voice.
magic me soft
like corduroy.

The Oracle gave me the first stanza separately, to prepare me for the rest.

    Gorgeous! Every stanza makes its own weird sense. But I love the last one and the lines: “magic me soft / like corduroy.” 🤩
