Storytime is back at the library for granddaughter. I drove over yesterday to be a part of it. I recognized many familiar faces of parents and kids and new additions to their families from last time, as well as several new families participating. The same librarian leads storytime, and she is wonderful in building enthusiasm with everyone. Last time, they saved the bubble machine for the end of the hour, but yesterday they started with it.
While there, I wandered around and saw a couple of interesting things besides the books. One is the above painting. Paul Collins is a locally-born artist. Learn more about Paul Collins here, here, and at Paul’s website.
The painting immediately got my attention, as it shows 3 of my favorite American Leaders. I love the title. I love the description on the placard.
We are, all of us, on a road to somewhere. Let’s follow Paul, on the road towards equality.
Any idea on when was the painting done? The message is thoughtful. So is the idea. Love the YT video. it’s fun. :-D

I like the painting a lot, Lisa. I visited his web site, and clearly he is a talented artist with plenty of important messages to deliver through his work. I also liked the design and layout of his site as well. Very impressive.
