POPO 2026 Day 18

Doors and windows open
gentle breeze wafting through
haze-free skies again.
Not even the neighbor’s dog’s
bored barking can disrupt
the peace of this perfect
summer day.

  1. Those mild days and nights are now clearly in the rear-view mirror. Yesterday marked the first time since the summer that we had to switch on the heat. Of course, there’s nothing wrong about spreading warm thoughts! :-)

It’s been a gradual transition, which is appreciated. I’ve also turn the heat on at night now. Warm in fall, weatherly or manufactured, is a good thing.

The down side of posting the “en vivo” poems 2 months after written is that it’s ancient (weather) history.

Awesome on Oprah! I definitely needed my jacket yesterday at the No More Kings — Vote Early Rally yesterday. But last weekend it was in the 80s while waiting in line for the Abdul El-Sayed Rally. “Leaves are falling on the ground …” summer is on its way….

      1. Yea its in the sixties today and I’m loving it. I’m about to go out in the Jeep that actually starts now instead of rolling off lol. I haven’t been around a lot of people since I went to see Dylan and Willie last year.
