blossom and moth

The third and final prickly pear cactus blossom.  Looks like there might be three pears to harvest this year. Also, there is a new resident living in the carport.  Came out one day and she was resting on the car window.  I shooed her away.  She stayed.

Please forgive the state of the coffee carafe with its residue and stains (vinegar only goes so far.)  After thousands of uses, I finally noticed the warning on it and had myself a good laugh.  Can you guess which warning had me chuckling?

Doodads — bike ride in GR with fam

Transported the bike to GR and took a wonderful bike ride with younger son and my granddaughter yesterday. The weather was perfect. We rode through neighborhoods and ended up on Kent Trails that runs along the Grand River (which empties out into Lake MI in Grand Haven.)
