Fandango’s One Word Challenge today is chemical. The first thing I thought of was a the periodic table of the chemical elements. Going to old standy wiki, I found a paragraph with several terms related to the periodic table. First putting them into a list, I waited for inspiration and it came. Today’s offering is titled, Chemical Table. You will see the list of terms to the left and the poem to the right of it.

noble gases                                        stained with mahogany spray

blocks                                                 blocked legs

atomic orbitals                                    stamped circles on them

unidentified elements                          carved strange symbols

synthesis of new elements                  that look familiar

reactions                                              hope for applause
