For the Word of the Day Challenge prompt of wish I give you some videos that exemplify the spirit of wishes.
The first one, a performance during Thanksgiving 1978, from the film, “The Last Waltz”, has Bob Dylan singing with The Band as backup. The Band had decided to quit touring and put on the concert with a string of stars not to be forgotten. Martin Scorcese decided to create a movie around the occasion. The audience was served a Thanksgiving dinner first, then came the performers. This is one of my favorite Bob Dylan & The Band songs. I wish all that he wishes in the song to each person reading.

As a small girl, things weren’t always the best for me. I remember watching, “The Wizard of Oz” and feeling this scene with every fiber of my being.

I leave you with a clip of one of the most endearing videos I’ve ever had the blessing to have come across. I first saw, “The Velveteen Rabbit” when my sons were young, on Public TV. I can’t think of anyone better than Merryl Streep to narrate it. If you haven’t seen the whole thing, please do try to find it and watch it.
Oh my gosh, each of your choices touched a different sense. I had goosebumps! Thank you so much for sharing these special clips 💕

You said he’s 16? He’s old enough to handle it. It does cover some PG13 types of scenarios.

He is 18 about to graduate…he can handle it. I’m looking forward to it.

Forever young almost feels like the heart of the last waltz. Great tie in to ‘wish’!
