Welcome at a new episode of Heeding Haiku With … MLMM’s feature about haiku and haibun. As you all (maybe) know I am hosting my own website at blogger.com and this month we are creating Tan Renga. Tan Renga is a short chained verse written by two haiku poets. The Tan Renga has two stanza. The first stanza has three lines and the second stanza has two lines.

Tan Renga looks almost the same as a Tanka, but instead of written by one poet it is written by two poets. I love to challenge you this week to make the Tan Renga complete by adding your two lined stanza to the given haiku:

silence found
the colorful sky at sunset –
cicadas sing

voyagers from the land of trees

psalms to paradise island

together:

silence found

cicadas sing

voyagers from the land of trees

psalms to paradise island
