Oh my Gawd!!

You open your eyes and to your horror you find yourself unable to move, your memory is foggy, it’s dark, you can hear noises somewhere around you .. above you maybe, you try to cry out for help ……… but no one can hear you scream?

Chapter 2: Trapped

A damp, musty smell permeated the space as Margo came to. She flexed her numb limbs until the feeling came back in them. The pitch black made it impossible to see. Margo put her hands out and felt the roughness of cool, cut rock. It was wet in places and sticky in others. Her hands moved along the wall, reaching corners, until she approximated the size of what she now realized was a vault or a crypt approximately eight feet square. Margo reached up and could not feel the ceiling. Nor as she felt around the walls could she feel any doorway.

It had been awhile since Margo had heard any noise. Her head was clearing of fuzziness and fear; she became adrenalin-pumped serious just as she heard clinking chains and creaking wood above her. The chamber was illuminated by a flashlight. A shadowy figure stood, looking down. As Margo’s eyes adjusted to the light, she recognized Jerry. A coldness crept into her gut. Her memory flooded back and she remembered being in the laundry room when Jerry walked in with his basket. He’d smiled at her in a creepy way, and that’s the last thing she remembered…

Margot knew Jerry could not let her live, so she knew she had to find a way out. She also knew Jerry had to be insane to be doing what he was doing. This meant she had to play to his insanity.

“Jerry, what took you so long to get back? I’ve been waiting for you.”

Jerry was a little confused. He was used to seeing his dates terrified, crying, and pleading.

“Well, Margo, I had to wait until the laundry room cleared out.”

“Oh, OK, that makes sense. So when do we begin?”
