It’s Kristian’s turn to host 50 Word Thursday. Kristian and Teresa alternate weeks for this always fun and interesting challenge. If you should like to give it a try – go ahead! – the rules are below.
The rules
1 The completed piece must be in multiples of 50 words – a maximum of 250 words. Anything is acceptable – poetry, story, anecdote.
2 There will be a photo and a random phrase that I will take from the current book I am reading – you can use either or both
3 Please pingback and tag 50WordThurs so I can do a summary.
So here is the picture for this week:

And here are the words:
“They travelled in comfortable companionship, talking about their daily lives.” – Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith
Andy, Bill, Chad, and Darcy had known each other since they were in grade school. When a bully was terrorizing each of them, they had joined forces and put the bully out of commission – permanently. He never walked – or talked – again. They swore an oath to each other that day.
Now that they were grown, the four made it their life mission to stop bullies wherever they found them. Their joint-owned company allowed them to travel the globe. They travelled in comfortable companionship, talking about their daily lives.
The tattoo they shared: Guardian Angel of the Apocalypse.
