Fandango’s FOWC is pantomime, the Word of the Day Challenge is copy, Paula’s 3 Things Challenge words are valley, flute, garage , and Teresa’s Story Starter Challenge phrase is, “What can I get you today?”
Dolly had to drop her vehicle off for repairs and maintenance at the garage in the valley. She was told it would take four hours to get the job done, so Dolly decided to use the time to run errands on foot and do window shopping. The first stop was the photo-copy store, where she was able to get several hard copy prints from pictures that were on her phone.
As she searched through the images, she smiled at the one where a pantomime photo-bombed her and Jeremy. Jeremy walked over to the mime afterwards and pantomimed pounding him to a pulp, then afterwards of pulling out a pretty flower and handing it to him. The mime’s expression was priceless as Dolly snapped a photo.
Next stop was the bookstore, where Dolly picked up Jade Li’s latest novel, “What Can I Get You Today?”
Dolly then went to the little coffee shop and sat in one of their comfy chairs and got lost in the book until the alarm on her phone started dinging.
She headed back to the garage thinking what a relaxing morning it had been.

ahhh………to get lost in a book :)

I don’t know how you come up with these things so well. If given those words like that it would take me days…

Hans thank you very much. Sometimes I have to name a restaurant or club the odd word out.

Quite a thriller here 😊 All’s well that ends well. Masterfully written in the true tradition of a Hitchcock! 😉

I read it wrong…at first, I thought Dolly woke up and it was all a dream when the alarm went off…then I reread it.
It’s been a long day…great job!
