Fandango’s FOWC is turnover, the Word of the Day Challenge is world, Paula’s 3 Things Challenge words are skirt, record, Tokyo, and Teresa’s Story Starter Challenge phrase is “Where are you?”

The 1^st Annual World Wide Music Awards was going to be held in Tokyo. Not only would there be prizes for songs, song writers and musicians, but there would be a dance category, sales records category, and best concert venue category.

Lacy J had been nominated for an award in just about every single category. Her song, “I’m on a Mountain when Love Takes a Dive” had crackled across the globe through electronic digital synapses, breaking all sales records.

Lacy chose a skirt of avocado skins decorated with jackfruit to accentuate the frilliness of the lace fringing the white scoby leather jacket. Her platform boots had goldfish swimming in small bowls inserted in the heels of them. Lacy’s hair was an identical reproduction of Marge Simpson’s, created from blue cotton candy spray-coated with sugar to hold it in place. It’s a tossup as to whether Coco Chanel would have applauded or had a turn-over in the grave at Lacy’s outfit.

Her private jet was scheduled to leave for Tokyo at 2pm. It was noon and her chauffeur still hadn’t arrived with the limo. Lacy called Bruno. The call went direct to voicemail.

Lacy, usually highstrung, was in conniption stage when she screamed, “Where are you!?!?” into the voicemail message.

Yelling at Leo, “Call me a Lyft!”

Lacy reached for the throat spray. It wouldn’t do for her to be hoarse as she accepted her awards at the podium.
