Welcome to the Saturday Mix – Lucky Dip, 20 April 2019!
For this week’s Lucky Dip, I have reached into my mystery bag and pulled out a Synchronicity Poem. The topic is up to you!Good luck with your ‘Lucky Dip Synchronicity Poem’ – I can’t wait to see what you come up with! On Spring Mornings
Opening my eyes to sunshine
I can remember coffee’s taste
And sigh.
Morning sun paints gold on tulips
I bend, nose-deep, slippers dew-damp
Breathe in.
Cardinals, wrens, orioles high,
Hued treetops burst with many songs
I hear.
All colors and sizes of squirrel
Olympians who want birdseed
I laugh.
Pussy willow line long stems, they’re
Velvety soft against my cheek
I purr.
Spring peepers proclaim location
To mates – and listening herons
I’m torn.
I see you working the garden
Wishing you could see me also.
I weep.
My misty form fades along with
morning dew, longing to hold you
again.
Beautiful, and well written. Your twist at the end was subtle, yet evocative. Thanks for joining in the Saturday Mix 😊 I really enjoyed this poetry form!

Reminded me of the movie “Ghost”… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_(1990_film)
I can see the similarity… nature as it progresses. 🙂
