our ripples flutter
like angels wings as we merge
under moon’s wise gaze
luna’s spotlight shines
on ecstasy’s theater
moans accent stillness
land long forgotten
our skin shrivels, waterlogged
our mouths stay warm
evening loons pass
accepting our presence as
part of the night
nighthawks wait for us
our cavorting disturbs fish
easy midnight snacks

Skinny dipping is great, because when you get out of the water, you have something dry to wear.

You have to wait until your body dries off out of the water or your clothes will get soggy. Bring towels.
