Guess what I learned today?  A very important song in The Beatles catalogue was written based upon my favorite Tao Te Ching verse, #47 (Witter Bynner’s rendering):

There is no need to run outside
For better seeing,
Nor to peer from a window. Rather abide

For the more you leave it, the less you learn.
Search your heart and see
If he is wise who takes each turn:
The way to do is to be.

      Yes it is. His documentary by Scorcese showed me how he battled between light and dark all of his life. He’s a role model for what a person can achieve even with such a battle going on.

        Yes, I know that battle, I think it’s very human, and without awareness …. and I was very drawn to his writing, the guts of the songs. Especially Beware Of Maya.
