OctPoWriMo2019 Day 2 — A hidden world

Image result for frogs dance moon

At night I glide with silent wings
O’er fairie rings
My vision clear
Heart pure, no fear

Perched in oak, in a moonlit glen
Frogs tango when
Rabbits thump time
And toads drink wine

Parties a privileged few see
Only in dreams
A hidden world
Where magic swirls

Morgan Dragonwillow is the host of OctPoWriMo.ย  Morgan says:
Poetry Prompts:
In the shadows, did you ever secretly wish you were someone else, either as a child or an adult? Free write for ten minutes asking yourself that question and see where it leads, dive into the darkness. Take pieces from that and create a poem.
Suggested Poetry Type: Minute Poetry
Word Prompts:
child’s mind
what waits in the darkness
fantasy world
what is real

    1. You know I hadn’t articulated this before, but it has bounced around my head for a long while without being pinned down. Using that 10 minutes to free write is an effective technique. Yes, minute poem is a good form. Question: Are you kryptic13? You don’t have to answer.
