#FF — The Vision

“Billy, let’s go! The Vision said the sun will shine as if it were noon at midnight, and it’s 11:30!” said June.

Billy and June made it to the park at 11:45, to the sounds of their friends hooting and hollering. “Don’t bogart that joint!” said Billy.

As The Vision foretold, at midnight the sun began to shine as if it were noon.

Chet cranked up the jams; they began to dance in the light, their hearts beating with the rhythm of the universe. Om.

The laser vaporized three before they realized it wasn’t the sun.

    1. It’s not quite Reefer Madness, but dang, if you are so high that you can’t tell the difference between the sun — at midnight, no less! — and a laser ray, you deserve to be vaporized!

  1. Can you believe I had to look up “bogart”? After that I could go back and read the story again 🙂

Terrifying ending, and it doesn’t look too good for the rest of the dancers. Those visions. Gotta watch out for them.
