#MM Saturday Mix — The Cut of His Jib

Some fine ladies, fool or wise,
Measure a man by the hue of his eyes.
Some women judge, by moon or by sun
The silhouette of his tushy buns
Others scream at the sheen to his wavy hair
While his smile can lay their wild passions bare
Some go by legs, others by hands,
I stand firm in how I measure a man.
It’s something found twixt his toes and nose tip
It all depends on the cut of his jib.

I’m blaming Jim Adams for the content of this poem, as I also now have fallen under the spell of body part obsession!

This week we are dipping our toes into the pool of METAPHOR. Our challenge is all about the use of metaphor in our writing. You will need to use the metaphor provided in your response – which can be poetry or prose.  Our metaphor this week is:
The cut of your jib.
