Bees drink from the shore
of a shallow inland lake –
wrens splash in birdbath.
Frank J. Tassone is the host of Haikai Challenge. Frank says:
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to smoldering [hot] (moyuru).
That is a cool photo.

I keep seeing the bees and wasps come to the bird feeder. The butterflies drink from wet spots on the ground.
