What do you see # 39 — Vermin

Voraciously consuming as much and as quickly as I can.
Everything is fair game for my appetite.
Regrets? I don’t know the meaning of the word.
Me me me; I’m the center of attention,
Instinctively and incorrigibly driven to dominate.
Never going to stop. One of us will fall. Humans or Earth.

I think there is a mouse living under my stove. Sometimes at night I go to make tea and both cats are sitting near the stove, like they are waiting. I don’t hear it or see it, but…

      1. It will eventually come out and then one of your cats will have a souvenir.

This one looks cute. But nice can be a big pain. A house infested with vermin can be a nightmare.
Thanks Li for joining in the challenge

A rat crossed my path on the sidewalk the other day when I was out walking. As big as a squirrel. Glad I don’t live anywhere near that street! (K)

I lived in one neighborhood where rats owned the streets. You definitely didn’t want to be out at nights. Mice are annoying but somehow not so menacing.

  6. Nice acrostic! Though I love Jerry, I find mice creepy.

I think mice are fine outside, but inside not so much.

Rodents have proven they can run, hide and consume!
Now if we can just train them to eat nasty viruses.

YES! Just like they train dogs to sniff out cancer, they can train rats to find and eat C-19 –without eating us in the process, of course ;)
