I read this beautiful poem by Goutam Dutta and knew I wanted to share it.

Up early at dusk The baton of light is passed Harvest moon in sky. Farmer’s smile, brighter than moon Reaped crop, they carry home. Copyright @ Goutam Dutta

    I’ve not heard of Goutam Dutta. Looked him up and am drawn to the titles of other poems:
    A Lazy Goan Afternoon on the Beach, Changing Moods, At Night-Death Comes Steadily….

    (I had to look up Goan, which is a person for Goa, India, but you probably already knew that, but I didn’t) :)

    But the poem…mmm. “Up early at dusk”….
    At first I was confused, ’cause we get up at dawn, then I realized it was the moon. Mmm…
