By fall of 2021, the pandemic is gasping its last. Everything fun was back on the table.
Bart pushed himself away from the keyboard with a satisfied grin.
“Honey, you’ll never guess where we’re going for our anniversary.”
On December tenth, they were riding a snow tractor to the lodge at the top of the mountain.
“Bart, I knew there was a good reason why I married you. You promised grand adventure and here we are.”
Marnie and Bart snuggled close in their parkas.
Their first– and anniversary – day snow-shoeing, Marnie slipped and fell down the mountain.

There will be a lot of ‘survived the pandemic only to…’ stories in 2021! Funny, in a twisted way.

Safety is relative. Right now, my priority is to not get the Rona in the few months before the vaccine is widely available. We’re in the middle of a spike right after the announcement of three vaccines.

Oh boy, I hadn’t heard we were spiking after seeing a light of hope. It figures. Seeing your “Rona” I just thought of something. I think it is time for Weird Al to do a parody on My Sharona.

I’ve heard for months as soon as the cold weather hit, we were in for another spike. There have been a lot of gatherings around the election and now holiday gatherings and travel. I read today, we may have to wear masks for another year because people who refuse to wear masks are perpetuating spreading.
When I first heard about the corona virus, I started singing, “M-m-m-my corona.” I saw later that somebody did a full parody. It wasn’t Weird Al, but you can probably find it on YouTube.

🙂 I bet if you asked her she would say it was worth every bit of what happened. A funny story to tell later…

Well if that is her foot in the cast in the hospital, I would say yes. She may never go snow-shoeing again, but… I hope she takes up a safer hobby and is happy with it also. Thank you for reading and your comment, Plaridel.

I hope he didn’t get tired of her during the lockdown and planned to bump her off.

LOL That would have been a wonderful twist (pun intended.) Next time 😉

It was such a sweet visual until he fell down the mountains.
But, I enjoyed the build up. Now, you’ll have to coninute the story. : )

Nothing worse than planning a great adventure and having an accident come in and foil the plans! (I refuse to think there was anything nefarious going on)

I think it was a simple accident also. Thank you for reading and commenting, Dale.
