Everyone recognizes Bill’s utility truck.
“There goes Green Hornet Light,” they say whenever the beast rolls down Main.
Bill lives at the end of a long 2-track. He doesn’t take much to visitors. Keeps to himself.
Bill’s town legend is that he kept Bonnie and Clyde from getting away when GHL blocked their path.
Once a month Bill takes GHL on a road trip. Plenty of guesses as to where he goes. Some say he has a sweetheart in the big city.
Nobody ever bothers to notice the special color of the rust at the base of his toolbox.

Either Bill has a nice side racket going on, helping the boss dispose of evidence, or this is the second story about serial killers using this photo so far… lol, funny when a photo sends several people down the same (dark) path…

haha! I love your comment, Trent. Ooh I can’t wait to read the other story and the rest as well. I wonder what the body count will be by the end? 🙂
LikeLiked by 2 people
Not as high of a body count as some FF photos, not by far…
LikeLiked by 1 person
Trent now that would be a fun project, to compile a list of body counts for each FF, like they do for Star Trek episodes and John Wick movies.

lol, maybe someday we should do that. Maybe post the final count the next week.

What an intriguing story and a nod to GHLearner as well, nice job!

Thank you, Mason. My nod was more to Bill (the image Bill) and Green Hornet but why the heck not, it’s a nod to GHLearner as well 🙂

Of course, I just recognised the initials and had to mention it. I do like Green Hornet. Its a great original super hero idea.

There is always that one person in these quiet towns who does his own thing… Course, it might be best to not go snooping over at Bill’s. Just sayin’

Yes there is, Dale, and I would say he’s probably harmless, but… Thanks for reading and your comment.

Dear Lisa,
I guess that’s not rust on his truck. Best to stay out of Bill’s way. Good one.

Did I “getcha”? Since I like Bill (of the image) I didn’t want to go down that path, but my muse insisted 😉

Mmmmm … it looks like Billl has a lot more going on and it’s starting to be exposed.
Intriguing write, Lisa. I see by one of your comments they’ll be more. I look forward to that. Have a good weeek … Isadora 😎

I’ve always heard that the ladies preferred the strong silent type. With old pick-em-ups over yonder.
Clever story, Lisa. Now you have me looking closely at other details. Like what is the speaker mounted on the tool box for? 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh wow, I was so busy looking at the bottom of the box, I didn’t notice that speaker! And what looks like an “air tube” next to it. What in the heck is put into that box????? Bill? 😉

The story starts with a warm feel and leaves me wondering what is he carrying in the tool box. Drugs, booze, bodies what? Interesting.

There’s a lot to be said for living in Australia and well away from all the characters in these stories. Covid might’ve made it across the ocean but lets hope they don’t make it here!
You’ve done a great job bring this character to life and people being identified by their cars and knowing what they’re up to. Very true to life.
Best wishes,
Rowena

So he blocked Bonne and Clyde and now he has funny looking ‘rust’? Very sinister, looks like he has ‘connections’. And I have nothing to do with the GHL, believe me, I swear! 😉

LOL, funny. Maybe we can get a “rust spatter analyst” to come in have a look. I really hope they rule you out as an accessory 😉
